From top to bottom, everyone in the Greenfield family brings a deep love and personal commitment to the Greenfield Senior Living mission. Matt Peponis, CEO of Greenfield, started the organization because he wanted to create something different, something better for seniors.

From his impromptu piano performances in the communities to Jonathan Barbieri’s (VP of Marketing) insatiable thirst for new and more remarkable research, the team at Greenfield is committed not only to continuously improving Greenfield as a whole, but also touching, moving and inspiring each community individually.

Kevin Bonello

VP of Information & Technology

Kevin J. Bonello, Vice President, Information Systems & Technology, came to Greenfield with over 18 years of marketing technology and operational management experience in the hospitality, financial services, and healthcare industries.

To make a difference in this industry, says Kevin, you need to be both “comfortable in your own skin” and “selfless,” not afraid to take work home. After all, he says, the final years of one’s life can and should be joyous, and it’s critical never to forget the gravity of that calling when serving those in Greenfield’s care.

For Kevin, that means not only ensuring that all of Greenfield’s systems and tech are up-to-date, safe and secure, and optimized for the best care possible, but also being available for residents and families when they need you. “We’re going to stop what we’re doing to help you, even if you're not a resident,” he says. “It’s just the right thing to do.”

Kevin began his relationship with Greenfield Senior Living shortly after the company’s founding, beginning as a consultant. It didn’t take long for him to realize there was something different, something special about Greenfield, and he joined the leadership team in 2006. He led the marketing and communications efforts through Greenfield’s early acquisition initiatives, and continues to strengthen Greenfield technology leadership in the industry — guided by a commitment to “constantly reinvent and reinvigorate” senior living.

Kevin keeps a picture on his desk of one of the first residents he ever worked with. He looks at it often, and it reminds him why he loves serving Greenfield.
