From top to bottom, everyone in the Greenfield family brings a deep love and personal commitment to the Greenfield Senior Living mission. Matt Peponis, CEO of Greenfield, started the organization because he wanted to create something different, something better for seniors.

From his impromptu piano performances in the communities to Jonathan Barbieri’s (VP of Marketing) insatiable thirst for new and more remarkable research, the team at Greenfield is committed not only to continuously improving Greenfield as a whole, but also touching, moving and inspiring each community individually.

Kristen Bolling

VP of Asset Management

Vice President of Asset Management

Kristen Bolling, Vice President of Asset Management, is responsible for the community assets, investor relations, acquisitions, and development at Greenfield, as well as regulatory affairs, risk management, procurement, and financial performance. With so many moving parts to manage, she still always makes time to stay “close to the care.” That’s what she loves about Greenfield.

“Over time,” Kristen says, “we can solve any problem. In five years, think of all the good work we can do — all the good work we’re doing already.” That good work centers on her commitment to seniors and their families. “Greenfield gives the resident back to their family. They can become a son or daughter or spouse again, instead of a caregiver,” she says.

That peace of mind, she says, hinges on a passionate, expertly trained staff, so it’s important that the organization support the Care Leaders on the front lines. “The job of a caregiver is challenging enough,” she says. “The organizations they work for shouldn’t make it any harder.”

Prior to working in senior living, Kristen worked in home health care, specializing in high tech adult and pediatric nursing, hospice, and personal care. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience and more than 15 years in senior living. Kristen is a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator in Virginia and has served on the Board of the Virginia Assisted Living Association.
